Structure
The management bodies of NAIA are the General Meeting of Members of the Association, Board of the Association and President of the Association.
General Meeting of Members of the Association is the supreme body of NAIA, which formulates the strategy and defines the main areas of activity of the Association. Regular General Meetings of Members of the Association are held annually but not earlier than three months and not later than nine months after the expiration of a fiscal year. The General Meeting of Members of the Association enjoys exclusive competence to amend the Bylaws of the Association, define the main areas of activity, principles of formation and utilization of its property.
Board of the Association is a permanent collective body that exercises general direction of the Association in the period between the General Meetings of Members of the Association. The Board of the Association gathers as frequently as may be required but not less than twice a year. The Board consists of at least 5 volunteers from representatives of member organizations. By a resolution of the General Meeting of Members of the Association, the Board may include independent members who have no employment relations with the Association or its members but comply with federal laws. The Board of the Association is in charge of general management, except for issues that fall within the exclusive competence of the General Meeting of Members of the Association and executive bodies of the Association, as provided in the Bylaws.
President of the Association is the chief executive officer of the Association, who is elected by the General Meeting for a period of 5 years. President organizes and ensures the implementation of resolutions adopted by the General Meeting of Members of the Association and the Board of the Association. President is not required to have a power of attorney to act on behalf of the Association, President represents the Association in all organizations both in the Russian Federation and abroad and makes transactions at his own discretion within the scope of his competence.
Presidium of the Association is a collective body that directs current operations of the Association. The Presidium consists of President and two Vice Presidents who are appointed to the office for a period of 5 years and are nominated by the Board of Association.
